Aerobic and Spin Class Descriptions:

FIRM & CARDIO BLAST

Our group aerobic classes are challenging, self paced and co-ed. They consist of several possible combinations, to include: hi-lo, steps, tubing, bands, dumbbells and weighted bars. For one hour, you will be guaranteed a variety of challenging cardiovascular moves while having fun in a group setting.

BODY SCULPT

If you are interested in an incredible way to firm and tone while you’re getting a cardiovascular workout, then a Body Sculpt class is for you. During this one-hour co-ed class you will use tubing, hand weights, bands and weighted bars to get a challenging combination of both toning and cardiovascular conditioning.

FIT BALL CHALLENGE

This is a one-hour co-ed fitness class using a fit ball that works your entire body. It’s a challenging class that uses wide range routines involving both weights and low impact cardiovascular moves. Using a fit ball creates instability in the body, forcing the core muscles to work harder to hold the body in place and stabilize the spine.

SPIN CLASS

Spin is a 45-minute co-ed aerobic exercise that takes place on a specially designed stationary bicycle. The lights are lowered and the instructor leads the class through a series of moves while the participants are inspired by music. With no complicated moves to learn, Spin/Cycling classes provide a great self-paced, low impact workout.

FIGURE’S POWER HOUR

Held in the Figure’s room, this one-hour class uses the machines and equipment to get a complete cardiovascular, firming and toning workout. You will also learn how to supplement your regular Figures workout with weights, bands, tubing, fit balls, body bars and steps.

ZUMBA

Zumba is a one-hour co-ed class using Latin and International music with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. Zumba utilizes the principals of fitness interval training and resistance training to maximize fat burning and total body toning. It targets the glutes, legs, arms abs and the heart. You don’t have to know how to dance to Zumba!

HI-LO TransFIRMation

This is an incredible, fat burning, high energy, heart pumping cardiovascular and sculpting workout that is self-paced, co-ed and suitable for all fitness levels. Using only dumbbells for firming and toning; combined with new and unique high intensity cardio moves.

KICKBOXING

Using little to no equipment, this co-ed class offers a tremendous aerobic workout through cardio intensity drills while training muscles through kickboxing techniques. It teaches basic kickboxing movements that are broken down and then combined with other movements for challenging combinations.

PILATES

Pilates is a revitalizing workout designed to ensure that you achieve your optimal level of fitness and well-being:

•Flatten abdominals
•Strengthen core muscles
•Increase metabolism and lose weight
•Tone and elongate muscles without bulk
•Restore natural alignment
•Improve balance and posture
